so i went to art college && my teacher told me to go buy some paint and paint brushes and paint a painting or i would fail. thus i met paint, and i think we fell in love. but not at first, at first i was like "what a fucking asshole, that paint..."



christmas present for my coworker at the cafe.

excuse to actually PAINT!
i asked him what his favourite animal was and BAM: red panda.
speed painting on 9" x 7" canvas board. acrylic, sharpie, white gel pen, && some bloody wicked full alphabet stamp set i bought at Art Central YEAH! about an hour and a half.
and he shall get this tomorrow before we're off for the holidays! surprise!




i'm thinking i might want to do comissions of these little paintings since i am a fast painter and i have a lot. a lot of canvasses. if anyone's interested, perhaps.

This is so awesome! The little panda is incredibly adorable and perfectly done (little face little claws eek <3), and the colors are warm and lovely and nice. Plus speech-bubble love of course.

Also (depending on price) I would so SO love to commission a painting from you, oh man.

acrylic! i've never tried oils ;;. i wanted to buy some and practice over the holidays, but the bookstore where i buy my paints at school was closed when i went there before winter break, i think they were just out to lunch, but alas i am unable to get discounted paints until next semester so bummer there.

but thank you! i admore your painting skills, so it's lovely to hear this from you!

I like the action with the panda's tail & how you kept the colors to match. Usually some people stray away from that >:]
