GATHER ROUND CHILDREN, AND LET ME TELL YOU AN OLD TALE...

...a tale OF SOKW!

An ancient wolf beast of North America, known to many of the old tribes by many different names, is the terrible Sokw (as he calls himself; meaning Sour in Algonquin). Sokw is most noted in the Northwest Coastal tribes, as it is the region he settled in more "recently", and is one of the sole inspirations for the colorful and unique art known as Haida art, which took his unique fur patterns and developed into many art forms and designs. Sokw is the only such beast, yet tribes have pushed his patterns and inspirations unto other such animals, and conceived other such "gods".

Sokw has played many roles, though he is inherently an evil beast meant for culling the lands and populations and ruling the lesser beasts. His giant neck makes for a humongous throat and lung power unmatched. With this, Sokw would bellow, signalling violent thunderstorms, or if he pleased, just being really fucking loud and exploding some ear drums, if not heads. He is also capable of level 5 hurricane force wind, from his powerful lungs. Finally, his huge jaws should be noted, filled with huge fangs, and sharp cutting and grinding teeth (he really likes to grind). Despite his extreme vocal abilities, Sokw has excellent hearing, the fur inside his ears is capable of condensing (folding in) and muffling his hearing for his own protection from himself.

Sokw's more prominent role, and most recent, in existence with the coastal tribes and the land, was eater of the dead* and deliverer of souls to the afterlife. This was just fine with Sokw, as he enjoyed being fed readily. to cater to his great height, some tribes on the coast began the custom of placing "caskets" atop huge poles, in preparation for Sokw to come and devour them. This pleased Sokw, and minimized the amount of times he let loose his terrible anger.
*Sokw is also capable of breath worse than the holocaust.

After a time of easy meals, Sokw became fat and lazy, and retired to deep caves up in the far uninhabited northern coasts (just below Alaska) to sleep it off. Tribes continued their traditions and designs around Sokw, but he never came back, and these customs were recorded with other false origins, as Sokw was forgotten with time.

But Sokw has recently awoken from his slumber, and he has been waiting in his caves and listening to this new age with great curiosity and bewilderment! There are so many more people (to destroy) and they have strange new noises! One day he hears a young man named Elio speak of a battle to be king of the monsters. BUT SOKW IS KING, HOW CAN THEY NOT KNOW THIS!!!

Now Sokw is coming, coming to the source of this ridiculous tournament questioning of his title. And he'll destroy whatever it takes to get people to remember that he, SOKW, is the king of monsters!

i don't think i'm gonna keep with with watercolors, ink i like! but i forgot my red ink at home so i had to do his hands/feet/tail with watercolor and its too... meh. ALSO HE IS TOO SKINNY HERE, LOOKS LIKE HE NEEDS TO EAT SOME MORE PEOPLE OM NOM NOM.

SOKW STATS:
Height: 300 feet / 90 m or so? IS THIS TOO TALL??? i wanted Sokw to be huge, but it seems that a lot of people are smaller or something.
Weight:
Role: DESTROYER!!!
Notable Attributes:
-Death Breathe
-Loud scream/bellow (can possibly "summon" thunderstorms)
-Extreme force lung power
-Super thick neck muscles, also covered in extremely thick fur (acts as sort of protective layer)
-Since Sokw resided on the humid coast for so long, his fur is thick, matted, and damp/soggy (GROSS!). Moss and other such moldy funk can be seen in it. He's musty.

SO that's basically Sokw, I cut out the idea that he was a monster star in more recent times, of a few small time native american produced movies, where he got to kill the white man in titles such as "I Told You Not To Go There, Paleface". BUT MAYBE THAT IS TOO STUPID. Plus I was calling him Deep Throat for a bit, which also attributed to his downfall as a monster star since *cough* there was a movie of the same name that kind of ruined his career.

This is a completely different move for me, since I've never actually done anything remotely Native American, art-wise, and well I am half Native American. WHOA! BUT DID I HAVE FUN! I based him off a bunch of Native customs etc! yay!
