i'm assuming portland, oregon?? the compound gallery has art and art/vinyl toys, etc (compoundgallery.com). september, they should have their Dig Me Out show. tea chai te is KILLER for tea. backspace for art and coffee. if you get here the beginning of september, there's the First Thursday shows, which is basically opening night for all the gallerys (Sept 4th). floating world has comics and art books. upper playground, clothes and art things. of course, all the clubs and venues for shows. people from out of town always seem to hit up Powells, a 4-story bookstore. both 23rd and Hawthorne are pretty awesome streets to check out. if you need to know more about it, hit me up.
