It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I'm doing a comic about the epic and eternal battle and hierarchy of moustaches and beards, and boy oh boy I hope the boys at Image like it haha! It's pretty much mapped out, I just need to find a suitable color palette as I'm going to paint it, I can't wait to bust into that, mmm.

also on the list is a 3-page comic pertaining to robots, pretty simple and due by the end of December for a small Slave Labour Graphics anthology publication.

Show & Sale is on thursday and I believe some all-nighters are in order to plop out as many paintings as possible so I can make some cashmoney to pay for all the tequila I seem to be consuming as of late, HA. HA. HA. KIDDING. I just need new shoes because I lost one last week at the Dropkick Murphy's show, and am now with only one shoe. terrible. it's rather cold outside.

anywho, any quick ideas and suggestions for painting subject matter etc would be highly appreciated. what would YOU want on YOUR wall?? dongs and naked ladies need not apply, that's a given.
