THIS IS THE INTERNET.
of course it is. of course it is. what i don't understand is when people are pretentious wanks over the INTERNET, and. then well. someone else over the INTERNET proceeds to think ill of them. and then...
"YOU DON'T KNOW ME. YOU DON'T KNOW MEEEEE. I'M REAL NICE && AWESOME IN REAL LIFE. FUCK YOU FOR THINKING THAT OF MEEEE."
well what do you expect.
its funny when people throw that excuse out. it sounds a lot like a Maury or Jerry Springer guest who dresses trampy.
okay you actually MIGHT be a SPLENDID person in real life. SPLENDID. but this is the INTERNET. how ELSE are we supposed to judge your character other than how you act on art sites or online journals or what the hell ever else on the INTERNET. a good 99% of the people you meet on the INTERNET you won't ever meet in real life so they can THEN find you to be the fantastic and real and kind and wonderful and intelligent and mature person that you are apparently so.
so if you act like a fucker on the INTERNET, WHO is to say you are not a fucker in real life? how is the internet any different from real life? the internet is not really an excuse to be a fucking jackass or horrible person, if you expect to be considered a good person.
HOW am i supposed to judge you other than what angry absurdaties you write about in your journal or bitchy shouts you spout out on sites such as this? if thats what i hear a good chunk of the time, thats all i can really go off of, and not think too highly of your character. i'm not going to travel across the bloody world JUST to see you in person and be enlightened to the apparent fact that you ACTUALLY ARE a good person, despite what a fucker you are on the internet.
so don't be surprised or really complain that you are in fact "not a fucker in real life" if you don't show it on the internet.
ohhhhh but then again its the internet and what do you care what people on the internet think, huh? bloody excuses.
oh and i know there are people who are actually quite content with being arses on the internet, good show! but if you wonder why i don't like you when you are an ass online, think reeeeeaaaaal hard about it.
&&
i'm surprised when people are shocked by or complain about how there are MEAN PEOPLE on the INTERNET, like it could/should never happen. guess what, there are mean people in REAL LIFE TOO so why is it so hard to believe that there are MEAN PEOPLE on the INTERNET? this applies for idiots too. its just life surprisingly. but sometimes people act like they don't know this. the internet is actually a part of life and society, people! it is the Information Age and the internet is part of that! (!!!)

well no. i put up with a lot more idiots and annoying kids online than in person. so i guess im the opposite.
im meaner in person! GET READY CHARMAINE.
noone wants to talk to me on the internet and that makes me so happy really.
I guess that I agree, though it would be pretty hypocritical to agree, I am a bit of an internet arse, most especially as an outlet. So, you are completely right and it is selfish to be a dick on the internet but I really don't think it can amount up to the social interaction that real life provides, as opposed to this fake reality thing. It is hard to take seriously because there is nearly no chance of ever meeting the people, like you said.
